Suzy and Park Bo-gum sang a duet song from the movie 'Wonderland'

While the duet song between Suzy and Park Bo-gum, who appear as lovers in the movie 'Wonderland', is gaining attention, it is known that Park Bo-gum participated in writing the lyrics himself.

'Wonderland' is a story about meeting a loved one again through Wonderland, a video call service that restores dead people with artificial intelligence. With Suzy and Park Bo-gum acting together for the first time through 'Wonderland', the main clip and behind-the-scenes footage of the duet song performed by the two actors in the movie were released.

In 'Wonderland', Suzy played the role of Jeong-in, who restored her unconscious boyfriend Tae-ju (played by Park Bo-gum) in Wonderland. Park Bo-gum played Tae-joo, who is unfamiliar and confused about everything in reality that he faces again after miraculously waking up.

While director Kim Tae-yong was discussing with the late director Bang Jun-seok, who was the music director at the time, about a way for Jeong-in and Tae-joo, who cannot be together in reality, to interact in their imaginations, the idea of 'what if they sing?' came up, and the actors happily agreed. It is said that thanks to Haejun, the work progressed smoothly.

After thinking about songs that are familiar and familiar to us, but at the same time unfamiliar and fresh, like the Wonderland service, music director Bang Jun-seok proceeded with the arrangement based on Bach's G-string aria. Director Kim Tae-yong, music director Bang Jun-seok, and actor Park Bo-gum collaborated in writing the lyrics. Park Bo-gum added emotion to the song with lyrics that reflected Tae-joo's feelings, and he worked passionately on the song, even naming it WISH: Wonderland is here.

Despite the tight schedule, Suzy and Park Bo-gum not only did their best to master the song and showed beautiful harmony through continuous practice, but also added to the perfection of the song with their delicate sensitivity immersed in the characters of Jeong-in and Tae-ju. Park Bo-gum expressed his special affection for the duet song, saying, "This is a scene that implicitly shows the emotions of people who use the Wonderland service." Suzy also chose it as "the most memorable scene" and said, "I remember practicing kissing with actor Park Bo-gum right before filming."

‘Wonderland’ can be seen in theaters nationwide on June 5.
