'The Plot' is a movie about the story of Yeong-il, a designer who manipulates a commissioned murder into a perfect accidental death, and gets caught up in an unexpected incident. The first point of differentiation is fresh material. The novel setting of manipulating a murder into an accident raises curiosity. The process by which the Samkwang security team, led by Yeongil, eliminates the target by disguising it as an accident will fascinate audiences with its suspense. The sight of designer Yeong-il growing suspicious and confused of the people around him due to the sense of crisis that he has become a target will add to the immersion. The production, which is intended to make it difficult to determine whether it was a real accident or a murder, will captivate the audience with unpredictable fun.
◆ From designer to client, target, and new variables
The second point of differentiation is the appearance of colorful characters that bring a sense of reality. Yeong-il, the designer who manipulates murder into accidents, elicits empathy with his cool-headed yet lonely side, and the Samkwang Security team members who complete Yeong-il's plan will captivate the audience with their special synergy. Veteran Jackie (Lee Mi-sook), who has as many variables as experience, dominates the play with her unique charisma, while camouflage expert Wol-cheon (Lee Hyun-wook) goes through surprising transformations and plays in the right places, and the youngest member Jeom-man (Tang Jun-sang) shows off his unique energy. It brings life to the play. In addition, Lee Chi-hyun (Lee Moo-saeng), an insurance expert in contact with Young-il's client, Joo Young-seon (Jung Eun-chae), who requests the murder of someone close to him, and the target Prosecutor General candidate Joo Seong-jik (Kim Hong-pa), dig into the accident manipulated by Young-il. From Yang Kyung-jin (Kim Shin-rok), a detective who approaches the truth, to Cyber Wrecker Hauser (Lee Dong-hwi), who constantly creates provocative issues. The final point of differentiation is the music that reflects the character's psychology. 'The Plot', in which music director Kim Tae-seong, who was in charge of the music for 'Pamyo', 'Noryang: Sea of Death', and 'Crime City 2', participated, used music to effectively express Yeong-il's inner self, whose doubts are constantly growing.
