'Exhuma' is racing towards 10 million viewers
According to the comprehensive computer network for movie theater admission tickets, 'Exhuma' maintained the top spot at the box office by mobilizing 71,981 people on the 19th. As of today, the cumulative number of viewers is 9,452,891. The hidden 'anti-Japanese code' and the 'MZ shaman' character that breaks the existing mold are cited as factors gaining favorable reviews from young people. It is expected that it will become a ‘10 million movie’.
'Exhuma' is an occult mystery film that tells the story of strange events that happen to a geomancer, undertaker, and shaman who receive a large amount of money to relocate a suspicious tomb. It is directed by Jang Jae-hyun and stars Choi Min-sik, Yoo Hae-jin, Kim Go-eun, and Yoo Hae-jin.
'Dune: Part 2' starring Timothée Chalamet maintained second place. The number of daily viewers was 19,988, and the cumulative number of viewers was 1,621,197. 'Dune: Part 2' is an action blockbuster in which Paul (Timothée Chalamet), who awakens after realizing his abilities, searches for his destiny as a warrior on a journey for revenge.
‘Night Swim’ entered 3rd place. Through pre-release previews, it recorded 4,128 daily audiences and 4,254 cumulative audiences. 'Night Swim' is a work about the suffocating fear that begins the moment one is left alone in a swimming pool.
Next was ‘Poor Things’ in 4th place, and ‘Bob Marley: One Love’ in 5th place.
