'THE ROUNDUP : PUNISHMENT' received favorable reviews at the Berlin Film Festival
Recently, 'THE ROUNDUP : PUNISHMENT' was officially invited to the Berlinale Special Gala section of the Berlin International Film Festival, one of the world's three largest film festivals, and made its world premiere. 'THE ROUNDUP : PUNISHMENT' is about the monster detective Ma Seok-do (played by Ma Dong-seok) and the return of Jang Yi-soo (played by Lee Dong-hwi) against villain Baek Chang-gi (played by Kim Moo-yeol), a former special forces mercenary who runs a large-scale online illegal gambling organization, and IT industry genius CEO Jang Dong-cheol (played by Lee Dong-hwi). (played by Park Ji-hwan), a movie depicting a crime eradication operation carried out together with the Kwangsoo Unit and the Cyber Team.
'THE ROUNDUP : PUNISHMENT', which successfully completed its world premiere by selling out over 1,600 seats at the Berlinale Palast, the largest theater among the numerous theaters at the Berlin International Film Festival, attracted media and audiences from around the world immediately after the screening. We are receiving rave reviews from people. Leading media outlets around the world heaped praise on the film, including "No need to say anything else. This movie is perfect" (Variety), "The most thrilling entertainment action" (Screen Daily), and "Undeniably intense fun" (Deadline). The more realistic and intense action and humor of 'THE ROUNDUP : PUNISHMENT' were also praised, such as "Exhilarating, fun, and refreshing!" (RogerEbert. com) and "More powerful action and humor" (South China Morning Post).
The audience's reaction was also enthusiastic as there was constant laughter and reaction throughout the screening.
