The science fiction film 'Seeking the King', which is scheduled to be released within the year, has released a launch poster and launch trailer, predicting that it will bring a new paradigm to theaters.

The movie 'Seeking the King' depicts the adventures of military doctor Kim Do-jin (played by Koo Kyo-hwan) and the village residents, who greet a large, unidentified guest who visits a village in the Demilitarized Zone in the summer of 1980.

The launching poster contains the image of an unidentified being in an unknown forest and military doctor Kim Do-jin examining it, along with the copy, 'The world's biggest friend has crash-landed!' 'Seeking the King' explains that it will provide a special experience with new imaginative emotions and differentiated visuals, raising expectations about what kind of relationship the meeting of two completely different beings will create.

The launch trailer shows the unexpected events that unfold with guests who come to a village in the demilitarized zone in the summer of 1980. Kim Do-jin, a military doctor dispatched to the Punchbowl Public Health Center in the Demilitarized Zone, reports that a robot the size of an apartment has appeared, but this is dismissed as nonsense. However, large footprints that cannot be attributed to humans, an unidentified spaceship flying towards Earth, and even forces that focus on the punch bowl appear one after another, raising curiosity about the existence of a huge friend who has come to Earth. In addition, Punchbowl village resident Joo Bok (Yoo Jae-myung Boom) and the only nurse at the Punchbowl village public health center, Jeong-ae (Seohyun), also appear. At the end of the trailer, the veil of a huge being called Cheol is revealed, raising curiosity about what kind of story will unfold between them.

‘Seeking the King’ is a science fiction film presented by ‘Battle of Bongo-dong’ director Won Shin-yeon, and embodies an imaginary world view and new characters. A tight casting lineup was formed, including Koo Kyo-hwan, Yoo Jae-myeong, Seohyun, Park Ye-rin, Park Myung-hoon, and Yoo Seong-ju. WYSIWYG Studio, which has solidified its position by implementing excellent VFX technology in ‘The Witch’ (2018) and ‘Victory’ (2021), participated as the main investor.
