Drama ‘Seonsan’ actor Ryu Kyung-soo, monster-like acting skills

Actor Ryu Kyung-soo played the role of Kim Young-ho in Netflix's 'Seonsan' and showed off his monster-like acting skills.

'Seonsan' is a story about a series of ominous events happening as one inherits a mountain left behind after the death of one's uncle, whom one had previously forgotten existed, and secrets related to it are revealed.

In the play, Ryu Kyung-soo played the role of Kim Young-ho, the half-brother of Yoon Seo-ha (Kim Hyun-joo), who inherited the inheritance after his uncle died, creating a bizarre and creepy atmosphere. In particular, he appears obsessed with Seo-ha, saying that he too is qualified to be a Seon-san.

In order to play Youngho, whose existence is unclear, Ryu Kyung-soo thought about his hairstyle, facial expression, and even teeth that make it impossible to guess his age. In particular, he said that he referred to the habits of wild animals and imagined the appearance of wild animals that had been left out of the herd. The character was realized three-dimensionally through Youngho's uncertain gaze upon arriving at his uncle's funeral, his emotional lines where he couldn't tell if he was crying or laughing, and the scene of him putting on his shoes indoors.
