Easter egg hidden in Disney's 100th anniversary commemorative work 'Wish', an homage to 'Cinderella' → 'Mickey Mouse'

A special Easter egg included in Disney's 100th anniversary commemorative film 'Wish' (directed by Chris Buck and von Virasson) has been revealed.

'Wish' is about Asha, a confident girl living in the magical kingdom of Rosas, who fights against King Magnifico, who has absolute power, along with a star with infinite energy, and how one person's sincere wish and courage can create amazing things. A musical animation commemorating Disney's 100th anniversary.

There is a hidden link to 'Cinderella' in Asha's costume in the work. Animator Yoon Nara, who participated in the work of the main characters in 'Wish', including Asha, King Magnifico, and Star, said that the cape worn by Asha was inspired by the cape worn by the fairy grandmother in 'Cinderella'.

Asha's strong supporters and seven eternal friends were created as an homage to the dwarves in Disney's first feature-length animation, 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.' Allison Moore, who wrote the screenplay for 'Wish', said, "Each of Asha's friend characters was inspired by the seven dwarves. Director Chris Buck explained, "There is a long tradition of animals singing in Disney animation. This can be clearly seen in the scene where 'I'M A STAR' is played."
