“The sweetest story that started in a dream” The journey of Timothee Chalamet in the movie ‘Wonka’

The movie 'Wonka' (director Paul King) released its main poster and trailer.

'Wonka' is a sweet adventure that depicts the amazing journey of Willy Wonka, who has nothing but a sweet dream and an old hat, to become the world's best chocolate maker.

The main poster fills the screen with dazzlingly colorful chocolates and candies, and the image of the magical chocolate maker Willy Wonka (Timothée Chalamet) sitting wearing his trademark magic hat catches the eye. It contains chocolates and candies in various shapes, including cherry blossom trees, rabbits, mushrooms, and various flower petals.

The copy, “The sweetest story that started in a dream,” stimulates curiosity about how Wonka’s journey to become the world’s best chocolate maker will unfold. Various characters are expected to appear, including Oompa Loompa (Hugh Grant), a small-time thief targeting Wonka's chocolate, and Noodle (Carla Lane), an orphan girl who claims to be Wonka's strong supporter.

In the trailer, you can see Wonka's passionate appearance, overcoming numerous difficulties and courageously taking on the challenge of the chocolate market where Dalkom Department Store is located. Korean cinematographer Jeong Jeong-hoon of 'Old Boy', 'New World', and 'The Handmaiden' collaborated with the 'Harry Potter' and 'Dark Knight' series producers.

The movie ‘Wonka’ will be released in Korea on January 31st.
