Timothee Chalamet's movie 'Wonka' confirmed to be released in Korea on January 31, 2024

'Wonka' (director Paul King), a prequel film to 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory', has confirmed its domestic release on January 31, 2024.

'Wonka' is a sweet adventure that depicts the amazing journey of Willy Wonka, who has nothing but a sweet dream and an old hat, to become the world's best chocolate maker. It is a film adaptation of a novel by famous British writer Roald Dahl and tells the story of Willy Wonka, the main character of 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory', which was much loved by movie fans around the world.

The poster catches the eye with the back view of Wonka (Timothée Chalamet), surrounded by glass bottles filled with various chocolates, taking a step into a huge world. The copy, 'The beginning of a story sweeter than chocolate,' stimulates curiosity about how Wonka's journey to achieve his dream of becoming the world's best chocolate maker will unfold.

Timothee Chalamet, actor of 'Call Me by Your Name', 'Lady Bird', 'Dune', and 'Bones and All', played the role of Wonka. Timothee Chalamet plans to portray the passionate days of Wonka, the magical chocolate maker, in a variety of ways, using his unique sweet and quirky charm.

Olivia Colman, who won the Academy Award for Best Actress for 'The Favorite: The Queen's Woman', Sally Hawkins for 'My Love', 'The Shape of Water: The Shape of Love', and Rowan Atkinson for the 'Mr. Bean' series. In particular, Hugh Grant, a representative British actor from 'Notting Hill', 'About a Boy', and 'Love Actually', appears as an Oompa Loompa and makes an extraordinary transformation.
