‘12.12: THE DAY’ hit 1.5 million viewers over the weekend… Today (11th) exceeds 7 million

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network for movie theater admissions, '12.12: THE DAY' (directed by Kim Seong-soo) attracted 1.5 million viewers during the 49th weekend from the 8th to the 10th, recording a cumulative audience of 6,971,954. This movie, which has never once missed the top spot at the box office since its release on the 22nd of last month, is achieving a 'bullshit box office success' by attracting more audiences than when it was first released.

Second place was '3 Days of Vacation' (directed by Yook Sang-hyo), which was viewed by 142,403 people and recorded a cumulative audience of 216,568. '3 Days of Vacation' is a healing fantasy film about mother Bok-ja (Kim Hae-sook), who is on vacation in heaven, and her daughter Jinju (Shin Min-ah), who runs a restaurant using her mother's recipes. It is receiving positive reviews from audiences for stimulating tears. Following '3 Days Vacation', 'Napoleon' (directed by Rirley Scott) is in third place with 78,335 viewers. The cumulative number of viewers is 139,578.
