'Citizen of a Kind' is a thrilling chase drama that unfolds when Deok-hee, an ordinary citizen who has been subjected to voice phishing, receives a rescue request from Jae-min, a member of a scam organization.

The released poster shows the so-called Deokvengers (Ra Mi-ran, Yeom Hye-ran, Jang Yoon-ju, Ahn Eun-jin) and the intelligence team Detective Park (Park Byeong-eun) who have come together to chase down the head of voice phishing (Lee Moo-saeng), who moves hundreds of billions of won. 'Jaemin (Gong Myeong), a member of a voice phishing organization who sends a rescue request to Deok-hee (Ra Mi-ran), joins in, raising expectations. The phrase, “If no one catches you, we will catch you,” foretells a refreshing chase story about finding your own money.

While Deok-hee is in trouble due to a fire at the laundromat she runs, she falls into the trap of voice phishing when she receives a loan product offer from Assistant Manager Son at her main bank. Deok-hee, who suffered massive damage worth tens of millions of won, immediately goes to the police, but is frustrated by the skeptical response of Detective Park, a member of the intelligence team who is buried in a flood of large-scale cases.

One day, I get a call from Assistant Manager Son asking me to get him out of the organization because he will tell me everything I know about voice phishing. It will feature Deok-hee's exciting chase story across Korea and China, based on the special alliance between the voice phishing fraud victim and the sender.

The movie 'Citizen of a Kind' is scheduled to be released in January 2024.
