‘Spring of Seoul’ exceeds 3 million, the fastest since ‘Crime City 3’

The movie ‘12.12: THE DAY’ exceeded 3 million viewers within 10 days of its release.

According to the Korea Film Council's integrated computer network for movie theater admissions on the 1st, '12.12: THE DAY' (directed by Kim Seong-su) exceeded 3 million viewers within 10 days of its release. In particular, 'Crime City 3' (2023) was the only Korean film released this year to attract 10 million viewers, exceeding 3 million on the fourth day of release, and 'Inside', which attracted 7.07 million viewers, the largest number among Korean films released in November of all time. It is showing the fastest box office success since ‘The Fields’ (2015).

In addition, '12.12: THE DAY' is a box office hit faster than this summer's box office hits, including the movie 'Smuggler' (2023), which attracted 3 million viewers in 11 days, and 'Concrete Utopia' (2023), which attracted 3 million viewers in 16 days. He was proud of the progress. Even though it is only the second week of release, it is showing a bullshit box office trend and is maintaining first place at the box office, drawing attention to its future results.

'12.12: THE DAY' is a movie depicting the 9 hours of desperate action to prevent the rebellion of the new military forces that occurred in the capital city of Seoul on December 12, 1979. It is directed by Kim Seong-soo and stars Hwang Jung-min, Jung Woo-sung, Lee Seong-min, Park Hae-joon, and Kim Sung-gyun.
