Actress Jeong Ga-eun dreamed of being a ‘good mother and good wife’ in her 20s and 30s, but revealed that it was difficult and did not suit her. Jeong Ga-eun plays the main character Lee Seon, who tries to disguise an extreme choice in the play. Lee Seon is a character who goes on a time travel to look back on his past before he dies.

Jeong Ga-eun said about the reason she appeared in 'A Life of No Matter What', "I met director Seo Dong-heon in February or March, which was late winter and early spring last year. I received the script before meeting the director. When I received the script, I thought, 'Am I the right cat to star in a movie? ' When I read the script, I thought the role was similar to what I was in. I thought, ‘I can empathize with Lee Seon and play it.’”

He continued, "Director Seo Dong-heon said, 'I want to work with Jeong Ga-eun,' rather than auditioning for an actor or saying that I would consider so-and-so. So I thought, 'Isn't that a fraud?' I thought, ‘Why do you want to do this with me?’ “I asked our company, ‘Is this what you want to do with me?’ The director said, ‘If Jeong Ga-eun doesn’t agree to do this work, I’m thinking of changing the female lead to a male lead,’” he added.

Jeong Ga-eun said she wondered why she had to play the role of Lee Seon. He said, "I asked why he chose me since I am not a guaranteed actor and an actor.
