Actress Jeong Ga-eun revealed the reason why she chose the movie ‘A Life of No Matter’.

On the afternoon of the 5th, a press screening was held for the movie 'A Life of No Matters' (director Seo Dong-heon) at the Lotte Cinema Konkuk University entrance in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. Directors Jeong Ga-eun, Kwak Pil-je, and Seo Dong-heon attended the press conference held after the preview.

'An Unimportant Life' is a time-slip fantasy melodrama about Lee Seon, who goes to the past right before he dies, encounters his old lovers and tries to find love once again.

Jeong Ga-eun plays the main character Lee Seon, who tries to disguise an extreme choice in the play. Lee Seon is a character who goes on a time travel to look back on his past before he dies.

On this day, Jeong Ga-eun said, "As soon as I saw the script, I thought, 'Oh, it's me.' I wasn't confident that I could play the lead actor in a movie. However, I felt like the role of Lee Seon was fundamentally similar to me, so if I could play a role like this, I would do it." “I thought I could give it another try and that I could become Lee Seon,” he said.

She added, "I thought that all women living in this era would have the same feelings as Lee Seon. In the past, when I met a good person and a talented person, I thought, 'My arms will bloom.'"

Jeong Ga-eun said, "I can't say it's necessarily bad, but it's not wrong. I just think differently. As I and Lee Seon have experienced many difficult things, I felt that I should lead my life in a self-directed and enterprising manner rather than being wrong or right. "I later thought about whether it was right or not. Lee Seon was like that too. I think that part was similar," he said.

Meanwhile, 'An Unimportant Life' will be released on the 12th.
