‘Avatar 2’ is closely followed by a ‘slam dunk’ reaching 1 million

‘Avatar: Path of Water’ and ‘The First Slam Dunk’ are bringing life to theaters side by side.

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network on the 16th, 'Avatar: Waterway' (director James Cameron, 'Avatar 2') maintained first place in the box office, mobilizing 148,657 viewers on the 15th. The cumulative number of viewers is 9,414,281. ‘Avatar 2’ is expected to exceed 10 million viewers next week after the Lunar New Year holiday.

'Avatar 2' is a sequel to director James Cameron 13 years after the previous film 'Avatar', and tells the story of the merciless threat faced by the family of 'Jake Sully' and 'Neytiri' on the planet Pandora and the long journey they must embark on to survive. It contains stories about battles, battles, and the wounds that must be endured.

‘The First Slam Dunk’ (directed by Takehiko Inoue) is following closely behind ‘Avatar 2’. It mobilized 128,190 viewers, and the cumulative number of viewers exceeded 934,866, and is looking at 1 million.

‘Puss in Boots: An Amazing Adventure’ (directed by Joel Crawford) attracted 57,307 people, and ‘Switch’ (directed by Ma Dae-yoon) attracted 25,858 people. 'Switch' is the story of Park Kang (played by Kwon Sang-woo), a top star who was enjoying a glamorous single life, a 10 million actor ranked 0 in castings and a self-proclaimed scandal maker, when his life turns 180 degrees on Christmas. It is currently being screened to rave reviews.
