U.S. CCA main character is 'Pachinko' Kim Min-ha, Park Chan-wook fails to win award

Minha Kim won the trophy for Best Foreign Language Series at the 28th Christie's Choice Awards held at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles (LA) on the morning of the 15th (Korean time).
Minha Kim enjoyed the joy of winning an award for Apple TV+'s 'Pachinko' (directed by Kogonada). 'Pachinko' is a story that begins with forbidden love, and travels between Korea, Japan, and the United States to chronicle war and peace, love and separation, victory and judgment. Kim Min-ha played the role of Sunja and gave a passionate performance.

Previously, Netflix's original drama 'Squid Game' (directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk) made history by winning two awards at the awards ceremony. ‘Squid Game’ won trophies for Best Foreign Language Series and Best Actor (Lee Jung-jae).

For the Best Foreign Language Film award, 'Decision to Break Up' was followed by 'No More on the Western Front' (Germany), 'Argentina, 1985' (Argentina), 'Bardo, a lie chronicle mixed with a little truth' (Mexico), 'Close' (Belgium), It competed with 'RRR: Rise Lower Revolt' (India), and the trophy for Best Foreign Language Film went to 'RRR'.
Meanwhile, the Critics' Choice Awards is an award in which the Critics' Choice Association (CCA), the largest critics' organization in North America, including the United States and Canada, evaluates the work of broadcasts and movies and the acting skills of actors.
