The movie '1947 Boston' (directed by Kang Je-gyu) has confirmed its release in September.

According to distributor Lotte Entertainment on the 17th, '1947 Boston' confirmed its release in September and released the launch poster. '1947 Boston' is a story about the aspirations and races of national marathoners who want to run again after liberation and participate in the first international marathon.

The Boston Marathon, which serves as the background for '1947 Boston', is a competition with the world's greatest history and authority, held every year on the third Monday of April since it was first held in 1897. In the movie, the journey and anecdotes of the athletes who overcame the chaotic situation after liberation and became the first Korean athletes to participate in this competition will unfold.
