Kim Da-mi, Jeon So-ni, Byun Woo-seok, eternal ‘soul mates’
The launching video of the movie ‘Soulmate’ (directed by Min Yong-geun) has been released.
On the 20th, distributor NEW released the launching video for ‘Soul Mate’. 'Soul Mate' is the story of two friends, Miso (played by Da-mi Kim), Ha-eun (played by So-ni Jeon), and Jin-woo (played by Woo-seok Byeon), who recognized each other from their first meeting and shared everything together, including joy, sadness, excitement, and longing.
The released launching video sensuously captures the meeting between Kim Dae-mi, Jeon So-ni, and Byun Woo-seok, soulmates who seem to never change in the work. It was created in the unique style of director Jeong Jin-soo of Visualsprom, who has presented stylish music videos for many artists such as Akdong Musician, Zico, Suzy, and Hyukoh, and boasts a unique design compared to those seen before.
It gives the feeling of watching an old film, and begins with a beautiful piano melody, taking viewers back to those times and immersing them in their story. Miso (played by Da-mi Kim), who has a free spirit and is not restricted by anything, and Ha-eun (played by So-ni Jeon), who stands out for her quiet and elegant charm, feel a strange attraction despite being different from each other, and realize that they are soulmates.
Ha-eun was touched by the smile and the smile that seemed to have prepared an event for Ha-eun. The daily life of the two, riding along the beach road on a motorcycle and having more fun at the arcade than anyone else, reminds me of my real-life friends and makes me look forward to the delightful fun in the movie.
In addition, the vague image of Ha-eun drawing the face of Jin-woo (played by Byun Woo-seok) is also captured, stimulating curiosity about the special friendship between the three. The narration throughout the video, “The day was hot, class was boring, and you came on a day when I was sleepy and listless,” brings excitement.
Meanwhile, 'Soulmate' will be released in March.
