Kim Da-mi, “I did the original movie with Jeon So-ni and Byun Woo-seok without worrying about it.”

On the morning of the 3rd, a production briefing session for the movie ‘Soul Mate’ (directed by Min Yong-geun) was held at the Lotte Cinema Konkuk University entrance in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. Actors Kim Da-mi, Jeon So-ni, Byeon Woo-seok, and director Min Yong-geun attended the event.
'Soulmate' is the story of two friends, Miso (played by Kim Da-mi), Ha-eun (played by Jeon So-ni), and Jin-woo (played by Byeon Woo-seok), who recognized each other from their first meeting and shared everything together, including joy, sadness, excitement, and longing. A remake of the Chinese movie ‘Hello, My Soulmate’.
In the play, Kim Da-mi plays the role of Miso. Although Miso wants to live freely as she wants, she loves Ha-eun to the point where she is always disarmed in front of her most precious friend, Ha-eun.
On this day, Kim Da-mi said about the original 'Hello, My Soulmate', "It was a movie that we liked after watching the original. The scenario was fun and good as well."
He continued, "Because the story is not completely the same, rather than borrowing or borrowing certain characters from the original, the three of us tried to express different emotions and Korean styles within the setting of Jeju Island with what we had. In fact, it was fun to play. “I think I did it without paying attention to the original work,” he added.
Da-mi Kim pointed out, "It is difficult to define a soulmate. It is someone who is connected by a string even if you are far away and is always in your heart even if you cannot see it."
Meanwhile, 'Soulmate' will be released on March 15th.
