‘Hero’ Min Woo-hyuk “20-year process to become a musical actor”
Interview with musical actor Min Woo-hyuk for the musical ‘Hero’

Min Woo-hyuk shared his thoughts on playing the role of Ahn Jung-geun in an interview related to the musical 'Hero' held in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 13th.
On this day, Min Woo-hyuk said, "I played baseball for 10 years, but I had to quit due to an injury. I liked singing since I was young. I sang for 10 years, and now it's been 10 years since I did a musical." “I failed several times, but now I think I did baseball and become a singer in order to do musicals,” he said.
He continued, "I have good physical strength. Musicals require a lot of energy, so I think I gained stamina through baseball, and I think I laid the foundation for musicals through singer training. I want to do musicals until I die. It's my last day." “I think it’s a job,” he said with a smile.
He said, "I am very proud of the greeting, 'This is musical actor Min Woo-hyuk.' In fact, in the early days after starting the musical, I was cautious about using the word musical actor. I was a little embarrassed because I was worried that the musical would know my name." “It’s an honor and I’m very happy,” he said.

The musical 'Hero' opened in December last year as its 9th season in Korea. It is a representative musical licensed in Korea that depicts the last year of Dr. Ahn Jung-geun. It will be performed at the LG Arts Center in Magok-dong, Seoul until the 28th, and will meet the audience at Blue Square in Hannam-dong, Seoul from March 17th to May 21st.
