On the morning of the 15th, the press screening of the movie 'Puppy' (directed by Kim Joo-hwan) was held at Yongsan CGV in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and lead actors Yoo Yeon-seok, Cha Tae-hyun, and director Kim Joo-hwan attended.
On this day, Yoo Yeon-seok said, "When I received the proposal for this project, I personally think I was very greedy at the time. A large budget, an award-winning director, a very star actor, and a very brilliant combination, I could participate in and make a movie. “I think I was waiting for it,” he said. “At that time, I received the script for this work and read it calmly. I thought that I should not reject this script and that it would be good if only the message of the work and my sincerity were conveyed, so I participated in this movie.” He said.
He continued, “I think this movie will be remembered as a very special work for me, and I hope that those who watch it will also receive the small message and sincerity that the director and we tried to convey.” He added, “We can rethink the meaning of family, not just companions.” He introduced the movie by saying, “I think it will be a movie that will warm your heart after watching it.”
Yoo Yeon-seok said, "I don't know how many viewers there will be, but I can't predict either. I hope that many people will watch the movie and that even one person's opinion about dogs will change after watching the movie. There will be one child who is abandoned and has to pass away due to an unavoidable unfortunate situation." “I hope that this movie will have meaning if it can be reduced and there is an opportunity to find new families.”
