'You and I' Kim Si-eun "I like romantic comedies, but I want to do action scenes like 'Gil Bok-soon'"

Actress Kim Si-eun (24) said that the genre she would like to challenge is 'action'.

On the morning of the 12th, Kim Si-eun was interviewed by Ten Asia about the movie 'You and I' (director Cho Hyeon-cheol) at a cafe in Sogyeok-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.

When asked what role she wanted to play that day, Kim Si-eun laughed and said, "Well, there are so many things I want to do, but I'm also worried. What should I do?"

“There are so many things I haven’t done. Well, the thing I want to do the most is romantic comedy, but I think it’s still action. Shooting guns and stuff like that. But right now, ‘Gil Bok-soon’ comes to mind. I guess I want to do something like ‘Gil Bok-soon.’ "

Kim Si-eun said of 'You and I', "It's my feature film debut," and after seeing the script, she said, "I really wanted to do it."

“I auditioned from the 1st to the 4th round. I probably read the entire script in 4 rounds. At first, the director didn’t say anything, so I thought I should try to break the quiet atmosphere, so I brought out that side of myself. I think so. Fortunately, he thought well of it and said, ‘Let’s give it a try together.’ It was really nice.”

Kim Si-eun confessed that she started thinking a lot about death through 'You and I' following the previously released 'Next Sohee'. He said, "I still think I'm young, so I've lived my life thinking that death was a bit far from me," and "I think I've thought a lot about death while encountering these two works and thinking, 'We can't live forever.'" He said.

“I thought, ‘I’ve been living as if I’m living forever,’ so I thought I should live my life while expressing my love to my precious people a lot. I think I thought I should do everything I wanted to do when I could. So, when I want to do something, I do it right away. “I’m on the side. Recently, I also learned guitar!”

Meanwhile, 'You and I' is the story of high school students Se-mi (Park Hye-soo) and Ha-eun (Kim Si-eun) who spend a dreamy day with something they want to say to each other in their hearts. This is the first feature-length film written and directed by Jo Hyeon-cheol.

‘You and I’ will be released on the 25th.
