Movie ‘Monster’ officially invited to the 20th Hong Kong Asian Film Festival
The movie ‘Monster’ (director Lee Jeong-hong) was invited to the 20th Hong Kong Asian Film Festival and the 17th Five Flavors Asian Film Festival.

'The Monster' is a captivating film depicting the cracks in everyday life that unfold as carpenter 'Ki Hong' discovers that the roof of his car has been dented and sets out to find the culprit.

The film was invited to the 20th Hong Kong Asian Film Festival and the 17th Five Flavors Asian Film Festival to meet overseas audiences. The Hong Kong Asian Film Festival is an annual film festival that showcases Asian films recognized by leading media and critics, and is held across Hong Kong for approximately 20 days. ‘Monster’, which was officially invited to the Wide Angle category this year, drew criticism that it “explores the dynamics of human relationships in modern society.”

It was also officially invited to the New Asian Cinema section of the 17th Five Flavors Asian Film Festival. ‘Monster’, which was invited to the New Asian Cinema category, was reviewed as “a skillful debut film that focuses on the subtleties of everyday relationships.” In addition, 'Monster', which is captivating overseas through leading film festivals such as the 70th Sydney Film Festival and the 25th Taipei Film Festival, is expected to captivate audiences with the thrill of unpredictable relationships in everyday moments.

The movie ‘Monster’ will be released on November 8th.
