Byun Woo-seok “I think Kim Da-mi and Jeon So-ni look alike ‘soul mates’”

On the afternoon of the 28th, a press screening of the movie 'Soul Mate' (directed by Min Yong-geun) was held at the Lotte Cinema Konkuk University entrance in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. Actors Kim Da-mi, Jeon So-ni, Byun Woo-seok, and director Min Yong-geun attended the press conference held after the preview.
'Soul Mate' is the story of two friends, Miso (played by Da-mi Kim), Ha-eun (played by So-ni Jeon), and Jin-woo (played by Woo-seok Byeon), who recognized each other from their first meeting and shared everything together, including joy, sadness, excitement, and longing.
Byeon Woo-seok played the role of Jin-woo, who has a pure charm without lies. A character who silently stays by Miso and Ha-eun's side for a long time in the play and shares their separation and meeting.
On this day, Byun Woo-seok said, "I always get excited when I travel to Jeju Island. I was happy and excited that the filming location itself was Jeju Island. The scenery of Jeju Island is beautiful and the mise-en-scène is also pretty. I was looking forward to how it would be captured, and I was excited every moment."
He added, "When I'm on set, I see the two (Kim Da-mi and Jeon So-ni) together from my perspective. While filming, I often felt like they were 'soul mates.'"
Byeon Woo-seok said, "I felt a lot of similarities when the two of them were talking about a scene or sharing their opinions with the director. They both liked each other in areas where they sympathized with each other, and it seemed like they were soulmates." .
Meanwhile, 'Soulmate' will be released on March 15th.
