Lim Young-woong’s ‘I’m Hero the Final’ global release confirmed
The movie 'I'm Hero the Final', which features singer Lim Young-woong's national tour encore performance 'IM HERO', meets fans around the world following Korea.

According to distributor CJ 4DPLEX on the 3rd, 'I'm Hero the Final' has confirmed its release in four countries: Malaysia, Hong Kong, the United States, and Thailand in April following Korea.

Lim Young-woong has a fandom of a wide age range, so much so that it can be said to cover people from their teens to those in their 90s. In particular, his delicate emotional line and wide musical spectrum based on his solid singing ability played a decisive role in gaining the popularity he has now. He also runs his own YouTube channel and is dominating music videos and major music charts such as Melon with his active activities.

Thanks to this competitiveness, Lim Young-woong is expanding his fandom base to young people in their 10s to 30s and overseas, who are exposed to K-POP online. Not only Koreans living overseas, but also global K-POP fans who are interested in idols such as BTS and Blackpink, often become fans of Lim Young-woong, who is always ranked high on YouTube and music charts, and find out who he is.

In fact, the encore performance of 'IM HERO' held at LA's Dolby Theater (capacity 3,400) last February was sold out for two consecutive days. The area surrounding the concert hall was filled with sky-blue waves created by fans, attracting local attention.

The synergy of Lim Young-woong's popularity and powerful fandom, along with the live performance of the 'IM HERO Encore Seoul Performance' filmed from a new angle never before seen, and 'I'm Hero the Final', which contains unreleased interview scenes that can only be seen in movies, made it a box office success even in its global release. Attention is being paid to whether this can lead to success.

'I'm Hero the Final', which was released exclusively at CGV and is showing great popularity, is even more valuable when viewed on ScreenX. The wide field of view provided by the three-sided screen that extends to the left and right walls, including the front, provides a new experience similar to an actual concert hall, and all the moments that the Heroic Age and Lim Young-woong spent together are ecstatically recreated with a breath-like sense of presence.
