Park Seong-kwang's first directorial debut, 'Woongnam', confirmed for release
On the 6th, distributor CJ CGV announced, “The comic movie ‘Woongnam,’ which will take responsibility for the liver health of all people, has confirmed its release on March 22nd.” 'Woongnam' is a comedy about the ups and downs of Woongnam (played by Park Sung-woong), who fights against an international criminal organization with beast-like abilities that transcend humans.
Next, the character poster of Woongnam's mother, Jang Gyeong-sook (played by Yeom Hye-ran), with a stern expression and a copy that reads, "We must let him live like a human being," foreshadows the struggle of her foolish son, Yeom Hye-ran, to make Woongnam, who has the habits of a bear, humane.
In addition, the character poster of local police officer Nara (played by Baek Ji-hye), who shows a confident girl crush with the copy, "Do you want to chase? Are you out of your mind?" adds to expectations for Baek Ji-hye, a confident new star in Chungmuro who perfectly handles everything from comical acting to action.
