International Feature Film Award, ‘No More on the Western Front’

The 95th Academy Awards were held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, USA on the 13th (Korean time).
On this day, in the International Feature Film Award category, where director Park Chan-wook's 'Decision to Break Up' did not make it to the finalists, 'No More on the Western Front', 'Argentina, 1985', 'Close', 'EO', and 'Silent Girl' competed. .
As a result of the announcement, 'All Is Wrong on the Western Front' won the International Feature Film Award. Director Edward Berger, who directed 'All Is Wrong on the Western Front,' began by saying, "This is a very meaningful award to me. I met many good friends."
He said, "One day, I went out to brunch and met the cinematographer of another movie, another nominated film. He was the cinematographer of 'Tar'. This was our first time working together in 30 years. It felt like our hard work was finally being accepted. “That’s amazing. Thank you for Netflix’s support.”
Meanwhile, director Park Chan-wook's 'Decision to Break Up' was selected as the best movie of 2022 by foreign media outlets such as the New York Times, BBC, Forbes, and The Hollywood Reporter. However, it was not named as a finalist in the International Feature Film category at the 95th Academy Awards.
