Lee Yi-kyung, “Park Seong-gwang surpasses his older brother and younger brother with ‘Woongnam’”
On the afternoon of the 14th, a press screening for the movie 'Woongnam' (directed by Park Seong-gwang) was held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Director Park Seong-kwang, actors Park Seong-woong, Lee Yi-kyung, and Choi Min-soo attended the press conference held after the preview.
'Woongnam' is a comical action film in which a man with a special secret called Asiatic Black Bear uses his unique beast-like abilities to cooperate in an investigation against an international criminal organization.
In the play, Lee Yi-kyung plays Malbong, a neighborhood friend who grew up with Woongnam. Malbong is active as a YouTuber who introduces incidents and accidents, but has only 10 subscribers.
On this day, Lee Yi-kyung said, "We are seniors and juniors who met on a variety show, but we were older and younger brothers. While filming another movie in Busan, I received the script through a messenger and read it. It was just on the list. I thought that was an OK sign, so I had fun filming it."
Next to Lee Yi-kyung, Choi Min-soo said that he called him an idol, which made people laugh. Lee Yi-kyung expressed his affection, saying, "After that, the good thing is that (Park Seong-gwang) is my personal favorite brother. I was able to deepen my relationship with him through this movie, and we were able to share various stories."
Lee Yi-kyung also said, "We have become better friends than older brothers and younger sisters. I believe it will work out well. I just watched the movie for the first time. I cried when I saw Eung-buk's expression. I firmly believe that the signs will be good."
Meanwhile, 'Woongnam' will be released on the 22nd.
