Actor Heo Jun-ho (59) revealed the story behind his remarks regarding the ownership of Dokdo.

On the afternoon of the 25th, Heo Jun-ho conducted an interview with Ten Asia regarding the movie 'Dr. Cheon's Exorcism Lab: Secrets of the Snow Scenery' (directed by Kim Seong-sik) at a cafe in Sogyeok-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.

On this day, Heo Jun-ho was asked about the 'Dokdo opinion statement' and said, "At that time, I visited Japan to promote 'Gambler'. There was also actor Bae Yong-joon, and he was very embarrassed. At that time, when I opened a Korean restaurant, I told my friend about Dokdo. “He asked me, ‘What would he say?’” he said, adding, “So, knowing that they would attack me with questions, I told the production company, ‘Let’s never talk about that.’”

Heo Jun-ho answered the question as above and continued talking about 'Dr. Cheon'.

Heo Jun-ho visited Japan in 2009 to promote the performance of the musical 'Gambler'. During a promotional interview, he was asked by a reporter, 'Whose land is Dokdo?' At that time, Heo Jun-ho came down from his seat, snatched the reporter's pen, and responded, "How do you feel?" The Japanese reporter who asked the question stepped back and said, "I'm sorry. Please give me my pen back." This incident is being talked about as a famous anecdote in which Heo Jun-ho expressed his conviction on the Dokdo issue.
