Honey Lee, the reason she thanked Rain

On the afternoon of the 10th, a press screening for the movie ‘Killing Romance’ (directed by Lee Won-seok) was held at the Lotte Cinema Konkuk University entrance in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. Director Lee Won-seok, Lee Ha-nui, and Lee Sun-gyun attended the press conference held after the preview.
'Killing Romance' is about top star Yeorae (played by Lee Ha-nui), who suddenly announces her retirement after falling in love with island tycoon Jonathan (played by Lee Seon-gyun), and meets Beom-woo (played by Gong Myeong), a student from the 3rd fan club, and plots an extraordinary comeback plan. It's a story.
In the play, Lee Ha-nui plays the role of Tathagata. Tathagata is a retired top star who dreams of a brilliant screen comeback. She meets Jonathan Na by chance, falls in love with him, and suddenly retires as soon as he gets married.
On this day, director Lee Won-seok said, "I really like singer Rain's song. I also liked 'Gang' even before it became famous. I am a person who did 'one gang a day'. When I listen to 'Rainism', my confidence rises. There is something about my life. “It feels like the bling is fading away. ‘Happiness’ used in the movie refers to the past, and ‘Rainism’ refers to the present. It was used as a feeling of the past and present colliding,” he said.
Lee Ha-nui, a graduate of Seoul National University, is close friends with Kim Tae-hee. He spoke on the phone with his brother-in-law Rain, the main character of 'Rainism' used in the movie. Lee Ha-nui said, "I talked to Rain on the phone. The lyrics to 'Tathagataism' sung in the movie should have been 'Bad Girl' and not 'Bad Boy'. So, I had to re-record. He was very willing to do the recording. He did it completely without compensation. “I bow my head in gratitude to the loyal ‘world star.’”
Meanwhile, 'Killing Romance' will be released on the 14th.
