Lee Sun-kyun and Ju Ji-hoon's 'Silence' invited to the 76th Cannes Film Festival
The movie 'Silence' (working title, director Kim Tae-gon) starring actors Lee Sun-kyun and Ju Ji-hoon was officially invited to the Midnight Screening section of the 76th Cannes International Film Festival.

On the 25th (Korean time), the Cannes International Film Festival announced that 'Silence' was officially invited to the Midnight Screening section of the 76th Cannes International Film Festival. Although the officially invited works were previously announced, additional official works were selected.

'Silence' tells the story of people stranded on the airport bridge on the verge of collapse in a thick fog that makes it impossible to tell what's ahead, struggling to survive from the unexpected threat lurking within. Director Kim Tae-gon of 'Goodbye Single' directed it, and director Kim Yong-hwa, who mobilized over 26 million viewers for the 'Along with the Gods' series, was in charge of production.

'Silence', starring Lee Sun-kyun and Ju Ji-hoon, as well as Kim Hee-won, Moon Seong-geun, Yeo So-jeong, Kim Tae-woo, Park Hee-bon, Park Joo-hyun, and Kim Su-an, is based on a realistic setting in which a familiar space in everyday life, the Airport Bridge, is suddenly turned into the scene of an uncontrollable disaster. It will showcase overwhelming scale and fresh visuals through realistic action and high-level CG.

Meanwhile, the 76th Cannes International Film Festival will be held from May 16.
