‘Guardians of the Galaxy 3’ brought joy to theaters during Children’s Day holiday
In the first week of May, the winner of the Children's Day holiday was definitely the Marvel movie 'Guardians of the Galaxy 3'.

According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network for movie theater admissions on the 8th, 'Guardians of the Galaxy 3' (director James Gunn, 'Gao Galaxy 3') attracted 1,265,1350 viewers from the 5th to the 7th, the Children's Day holiday. The cumulative number of viewers was 1,630,956.

'Super Mario Bros.' (directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Zelenig), which ranked second, also attracted 735,976 viewers and accumulated a cumulative audience of 1,802,497.

As a special feature for Children's Day, 304,003 people watched the animation 'Crayon Crayon Shin-chan: Animal Summoning Ninja Belly Guard', and the cumulative number of viewers was 343,271.

'Dream' (director Lee Byung-hun), the only Korean film in the weekend box office, ranked 4th, mobilizing 206,360 viewers and recording a cumulative attendance of 956,529.

‘Suzume’s Lockdown’ (directed by Makoto Shinkai) 5 ranked 5th, attracting 126,590 people and accumulating 5,323,147 people.

Last weekend, a special event due to the Children's Day holiday, theaters came alive with many audiences visiting the theaters. The bad weather, including rain on Friday and Saturday, also played a big role. In addition, thanks to word of mouth that 'Gaogao 3' has a good production quality, audiences who were disappointed with recent Marvel movies are starting to watch it again.
