The 76th Cannes International Film Festival kicks off the spectacular festival.

The 12-day journey begins with the official screening of the opening film 'Jeanne du Barry' at the Cannes Lumière Grand Theater in southern France at 7pm on the 16th (local time).

The first film to be shown at the Cannes International Film Festival is 'Escape: PROJECT SILENCE'. It will be released for the first time through a midnight screening at the Lumiere Grand Theater on the 21st. 'Escape: PROJECT SILENCE' is a story about people stranded on the Airport Bridge, which is on the verge of collapse in a thick fog that makes it impossible to tell what's ahead, and they fight to the death to survive an unexpected series of disasters.
