Group BLACKPINK Jennie took her first step as an actress on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. It's the best first step ever.

Jenny got off in front of the Lumiere Theater at the 76th Cannes International Film Festival at 10 pm on the 22nd (local time) and walked on the red carpet with actor and singer Troye Sivan under the name of actor Jenny Kim.

Jennie wore a bell-line medium-length white dress, and gave a classic look with a black hair ribbon and shoes. While feeling cute and lively, elegance coexisted.

'Brothers of the Lee Family' (Korea National University of Arts School of Film, Film Department Seo Jeong-mi) and 'Hall' (Korean Film Academy Hwang Hye-in) were selected in the La Cinef (Cine Foundation) category.

It opened on the 16th and will be held until the 27th. The opening film is 'Jean du Barry' (directed by Maiwen), and the closing film is 'Elemental' (directed by Peter Sohn).
