Actor Ma Dong-seok talked about two top villains, Lee Jun-hyuk and Aoki Munetaka, who worked together in the movie 'Crime City 3'.

On the morning of the 24th, Ma Dong-seok had a round interview with the upcoming movie 'Crime City 3' (director Lee Sang-yong) at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.

'Criminal City 3' is a monster detective Ma Seok-do (Ma Dong-seok) moves to Gwangsu University in Seoul to catch Joo Seong-cheol (Lee Jun-hyeok), who is behind a new drug crime case, and Ricky (Aoki Munetaka), another villain involved in a drug case. It depicts an exhilarating crime-fighting operation for the sake of others.

Ma Dong-seok plays the role of detective Ma Seok-do. Detective Maseok-do is a person who moved to the Seoul Metropolitan Investigation Unit seven years after the arrest of the kidnapper and murderer in Vietnam. He learns that the murder case he and his new team members are investigating is linked to a new drug case linked to a Japanese organization.

The signature of 'Criminal City' is Maseokdo's fist. The villains who oppose it are also important. Jang-Chen Yoon Kye-Sang of 'Criminal City' and Kang Hae-Sang Son Seok-Gu of 'Crime City 2' played an active role as villains and took a big eye in the audience. In the third installment, Junhyeok Lee and Munetaka Aoki, the first global villain in the series, are the main characters.

On this day, Ma Dong-seok said, "When I was casting actor Yoon Kye-sang at the time of 'Criminal City', I was told, 'Why did you cast an actor who is more famous than Yoon Kye-sang?' I didn't know much. Today's actor Lee Jun-hyeok is more famous than actor Son Seok-gu."

Regarding the criteria for selecting villains, Ma Dong-seok said, "I pick actors who have played less villain roles. It's a movie with a lot of action, so I'm looking for an actor who can do the action smoothly. I have to fight with me, but it's hard when both of them are sick, so I considered that as well. . I thought that friends who had played less villain roles had charm. We discuss and find out together.”

What is the difference between the 3rd installment compared to the previous installments? Ma Dong-seok said, “In the first episode, actor Yoon Kye-sang did a great job. From the outside to the inside, everything was perfected to fit Jang Chen. Actor Son Seok-gu also did 200%. He is an intelligent villain who is salty and uses a lot of brains. I thought that this kind of person would be difficult to deal with. I thought it would be difficult to deal with someone who is intelligent, but also violent and armed."

Ma Dong-seok said, “When creating a story with another villain appearing like an unexpected ambush, there are times when there is one final vertex. Or two, but this time we have two vertices. I wanted to make one with resourcefulness and strength, and the other an assassin. When I was planning it, I tried to make the two villains look on an equal footing. However, when I was writing the scenario, I didn't know how it would change, so I adapted it as best I could."

Also, “Actor Lee Joon-hyeok worked together in the movie ‘Along with the Gods. Yoon Kye-sang and Son Seok-gu, who appeared in the episode, also acted as if they were changing their lives, but Jun-hyeok is also a style that acts like that, so he clearly has passion.”

Ma Dong-seok expressed affection, saying, "I wanted to change Jun-hyeok to the point where people who saw his face would say, 'Is that person Lee Jun-hyuk?'

Regarding another villain, Munetaka Aoki, "If a Japanese yakuza appears in a movie, it can turn into a fantasy. To attach this character to the ground, a real Japanese actor had to do it. I watched all the dramas and movies that friend appeared in. He has many different faces."

Ma Dong-seok said, "We also had a zoom meeting. In fact, we did it together during the meeting, but I didn't do it because I was shy. Since I'm an actor, he told me to only have a zoom meeting with the director. After that, we met and talked, and it was nice. We got along well. While working, It was very good. If there is another opportunity, I would like to work together in another project."

'Sin City 3' will be released on the 31st.
