Yoo Ah-in, "accepting a significant part of the charges" level shift

Actor Yoo Ah-in (real name Um Hong-sik, 37), who is accused of habitual drug use, has changed his stance by admitting to a large part of the charges.

Yoo Ah-in appeared at the Seoul Central District Court in Seocho-gu, Seoul at 10:30 am on the 24th. From 11 o'clock, he will be interrogated (warrant review) before arrest.

On this day, when asked by reporters, "Do you admit the charges?", "Did you use cocaine?", and "Is it true that you tried to get your accomplices to escape?" I didn't even try," he replied briefly and headed to the courtroom.

The police applied for an arrest warrant, believing that Yoo Ah-in had taken a total of five types of drugs. The prosecution also requested an arrest warrant on the 23rd, leaving only the judgment of the court. The police and prosecutors believe that Yoo Ah-in denies the charges and that there is a risk of destroying evidence.

As if he had read the trend of the situation, Yoo Ah-in admitted a significant part of the charges for the first time in front of reporters. It is interpreted as an intention to avoid arrest only by admitting the charges and showing self-reflection.

In February, the police received the results of an analysis from the National Institute of Scientific Investigation that found four types of narcotic components, including hemp, propofol, cocaine, and ketamine, in Yoo Ah-in's hair and urine.
