Seoul Indie Anifest 2023 invited director Jeremy Claffin

Ahead of the 19th opening of Seoul Indie Anifest 2023, on September 15th, a special talk will be held with director Jeremy Claffin, the first Critics' Week Grand Prix winner of animation at the Cannes Film Festival.

Five short animations directed by Jeremy Claffin, an unrivaled animator who is receiving worldwide attention, and 'I Lost My Body', the first animation film to win the Critics' Week Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival, will be screened. After the screening, a special talk with director Jeremy Claffin is announced, drawing attention.

After graduating from the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris in 1999, director Jérémy CLApin worked as a graphic artist and illustrator as well as a commercial and music video director. At the same time, he continued to produce short animations and produced the short film 'A Backbone Tale' in 2004.

'SKHIZEIN', produced in 2008, achieved unprecedented success, winning over 90 awards at leading film festivals including the Cannes Film Festival, Annecy, and Clerman Film Festival. In addition, his first full-length animation 'I Lost My Body', produced since 2012, won the Cannes Film Festival Critics' Week Grand Prix in 2019 for the first time in the history of full-length animation, broadening the horizons of the animation genre.

On September 15th, at Seoul Indie Anifest 2023, director Jeremy Claffin's five short animations and feature-length animation 'I Lost My Body' can be seen. After the screening, a special talk with director Jeremy Claffin is scheduled.

Seoul Indie Anifest 2023 will be held for six days from September 14th to 19th at CGV Yeonnam.
