The 27th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN, Executive Chairman Shin Cheol) appointed this year's judges and unveiled them on the 9th. They are 16 experts in each field of the film industry, including domestic and foreign directors, actors, producers, writers, programmers, and critics.
BIFAN is a non-competitive international film festival that introduces partial competition, and the 16 winners are ▲Bucheon Choice: Feature ▲Bucheon Choice: Short ▲Korean Fantastic: Feature ▲Korean Fantastic: Short ▲Méliès International Film Festival Federation (MIFF) Asian Film Award ▲NETPAC Award (NETPAC) ), etc. are divided into evaluations.
'Bucheon Choice: Feature' is an international competition section and a key program that reveals the color of BIFAN. The judges are five people, Richie Clean, Kier-La Janice, Kim Seon-young, Konaka Kazuya, and Lee Won-seok (hereinafter in alphabetical order by last name). Best Picture, Director's Award, Jury's Special Award, and Feature Film Audience Award will be selected. Cho Young-gak, Rina Damayanti, and Park Dae-min will be in charge of the screening of 'Korean Fantastic: Feature'. For 'Bucheon Choice: Short' and 'Korean Fantastic: Short', Ga Ji-dong, Lee Jin-hee, and Alexander Zalten serve as judges.
The 'Méliès International Film Festival Federation (MIFF) Asian Film Awards', which aims to discover Asian genre films, will be judged by two MIFF officials. Josemi Beltran, Patrick Van Hauwart.
The 'NETPAC Awards', awarded by the Asian Film Promotion Organization (NETPAC), are judged by three judges composed of NETPAC members and cultural and industrial experts. These are Gulnara Abikiyeva, Programmer Youngwoo Kim, and Chairman Ian Lee.
The 27th BIFAN will be held in Bucheon City from June 29th to July 9th.
