'Debut' Kim Seon-ho "I almost ran out of the theater because my British English acting on the screen was awkward"

Actor Kim Seon-ho (37) confessed that he almost ran out of the theater because he felt awkward seeing himself on the screen.

On the morning of the 12th, Kim Seon-ho started an interview about the movie 'The Scion' (director Park Hoon-jung) at a cafe in Sogyeok-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.

'The Scion' is about an unknown scion (Kim Seon-ho) in front of Marco (Kang Tae-joo), a boxer who wanders around illegal stadiums in the Philippines, as well as forces with different goals, Han Yi-sa (Kim Kang-woo), Yun-ju (Go Ara), etc. appears and captures the unfolding chase.

Kim Seon-ho started transforming into a character completely different from the image he had shown before in his screen debut, 'The Scion'. He is ruthless, yet possesses a sense of composure and wit. He has performed realistic and intense actions such as car chasing, wire, and shooting action.

Kim Seon -ho said, "Since it's my first time in a movie, I've never seen current affairs in the media. I was watching current affairs, but I couldn't see them. I only saw my flaws. " He patted me on the shoulder. After calming down and looking at it, I got used to it, but I still only saw my flaws. I also saw it after a year, so it was strange and awkward."

Still, when asked what was the part he liked the most and the part he regretted most in 'The Scion', he hesitated and opened his mouth. “Ah, it must be that English acting, haha. I almost ran out of the theater midway through British English. The director commented, ‘There are people who imitate British English, that’s it,’ but it wasn’t really easy. And the scene I liked was It's an action scene in the second half. I like it because the director seems to have directed it so nicely. I watched it while thinking 'It's amazing'."

Kim Seon-ho expressed his regret again as he seemed to have caused harm to many people due to the privacy issues that arose during the casting stage. Looking back at that time, he said, "I felt sorry the most, and the people around me and the directors suffered damage because of me. And I was sorry that the schedule was delayed because of me."

"But that time is the time that made me look back anyway. However, even if that happened, my spectrum as an actor would not have changed. I would not have changed as an actor in expressing 'Scion'. I am grateful and as an actor. I have no choice but to do well in this role. As an actor, I will continue to develop and think about it in order to show a good image in the future."

'The Scion' will be released on the 21st.
