'Crime City 3' seems difficult to break 10 million this weekend... Is it possible in the car?

It seems that it will be difficult for 'Sin City 3' to break through 10 million viewers this weekend.

According to the integrated computer network for movie theater tickets of the Film Promotion Committee, 'Crime City 3' (director Lee Sang-yong) attracted 138,996 and 278,732 viewers on the 16th and 17th, respectively, recording a cumulative audience of 8,680,603. Although the tally on Sunday, the 18th, has not yet been tallied, there are observations that it will be difficult to break through 10 million viewers this weekend, as well as the next week, considering the average figures and trends.

On the 9th and 10th, there were 267,566 and 574,062 people, respectively, more than twice as many audiences this week, but it entered a steep decline in one week.

Since its release on the 31st of last month, 'Criminal City 3' has mobilized audiences to the pre-Corona 19 level and turned on the green light for 10 million films. However, on weekdays of the 3rd week, the average number of daily audiences is around 100,000. This is a significant drop compared to the 1st and 2nd weeks, when 500,000 and 800,000 viewers were added on weekdays while enjoying the special holiday season.

'Crime City 3' is an irreplaceable monster detective Ma Seok-do (Ma Dong-seok) moves to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency to catch Joo Seong-cheol (Lee Jun-hyeok), who is behind a new drug crime case, and Ricky (Aoki Munetaka), another villain involved in a drug case. It is a film depicting an exhilarating crime-fighting operation for the sake of others.
