'Chorong' Ko Gyu-pil "After appearing in 'Sin City 3', followers increased, and they recognized me on the street"

Actor Ko Gyu-pil realized the change in popularity after appearing in the movie 'Crime City 3' (director Lee Sang-yong).

On the 28th, at 2:00 PM, a press preview for the movie 'Between No Gap' (Director Lee Woo-chul) was held at Lotte Cinema Konkuk Univ., Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.

Go Gyu-pil played the role of Ji-woo, the best friend of aspiring musician. Kyu-Pil Ko, who made an impression on the public with 'Chorong' in 'Sin City 3', said, "It's not an easy time to shoot and release a movie, but I'm happy to be released."

When asked if he felt the popularity of 'Chorong', Ko Kyu-pil said, "There has been no big change yet. I've been busy filming dramas lately, so I haven't felt it much yet. It's the same as before. It hasn't changed much." Regarding his popularity online, he joked, "The number of followers on social media has increased. Prior to that, not many people recognized him. Nowadays, when I walk down the street, people recognize me by saying, 'It's a lantern'."

Ko Gyu-pil also said, "If I don't smile normally, (people) think I'm angry. So I try to smile and walk around," conveying his changed self in people's eyes.
