Rising Star Ok Ja-yeon Joins Hit Drama 'Sold Out Again' as a Scene-Stealer

Renowned actress Ok Ja-yeon, known for her academic excellence and Seoul National University background, is set to make her debut in the popular SBS drama 'Sold Out Again'.

According to her agency, Media Lab Seesaw, Ok Ja-yeon will appear in the episode airing on November 6th, marking her first appearance in the series directed by Ahn Jong-yeon and written by Jin Seung-hee, produced by Studio S, Beyond J, and Slingshot Studio.

In 'Sold Out Again', Ok Ja-yeon takes on the role of Michelle, the stepsister of Seo Eric (played by Kim Bum) and the vice president of 'Letoile'. Raised as the eldest daughter of the French Deruyé family, Michelle is a complex character with a deep-seated inner void. She is set to portray a multifaceted character who is wary of Eric's hidden traits behind his bright smile and fiercely competes to reclaim everything she once shared with him.

Ok Ja-yeon has captivated audiences with her unique aura and versatile acting skills, earning her the title of a 'trustworthy actress'. Throughout 2025, she has left a strong impression across various platforms, including the film 'Pagua', Disney+ drama 'Nine Puzzle', MBC's 'Labor Attorney No Moo-jin', and the play 'The Effect'.

Her appearance on the variety show 'I Live Alone' showcased her harmless and friendly charm, boosting her public appeal and leading to her selection as a clothing brand model. With her diverse talents and solid skills, anticipation is high for how she will enhance the drama's immersion with her new role.

'Sold Out Again' is a romantic drama depicting the lives of 'real-life sellers', featuring perfectionist farmer Matthew Lee (played by Ahn Hyo-seop) and sell-out host Dam Ye-jin (played by Chae Won-bin) as they navigate their intertwined lives. According to Netflix's official site Tudum, the show has topped the non-English TV show category and is loved worldwide, ranking first in eight countries including Taiwan, Guatemala, and Peru.

Meanwhile, the 5th episode of 'Sold Out Again', featuring Ok Ja-yeon, will air on November 6th at 9 PM on SBS.
