Red Velvet's Wendy Tops Poll as Most Desired Train Travel Companion

Red Velvet's Wendy has been voted as the number one female singer people want to go on a train trip with in the warmer weather.

From March 27 to April 3, TenAsia conducted a poll asking, 'Which female singer would you like to go on a train trip with in the warmer weather?' Wendy, who debuted with Red Velvet in 2014, took the top spot. She recently appeared on JTBC's 'Knowing Bros' in a special episode featuring high-pitched singers, where she shared a heartwarming story about singing at a fan's wedding. After learning about the fan's wedding at a fan signing event, Wendy went out of her way to find the fan's husband's contact information to prepare a surprise. Reflecting on the moment, Wendy said, "(The fan) held back tears," adding, "I felt like crying too, but I managed to hold it in."

In second place was Carmen from Hearts2Hearts. Their single 'RUDE!' continues to perform well on global charts and short-form platforms. According to TikTok, the 'RUDE!' challenge videos have amassed 3.6 billion views, and over 2.8 million video contents have been created using the track. Additionally, 'RUDE!' has topped China's largest music platform QQ Music's K-pop weekly chart for seven consecutive weeks, proving its popularity.

Chaeyeon took third place. Her agency, Day One Dream, released a performance film for the title track 'No Tears On The Dancefloor (NTOTD)' from her mini 4th album 'Till I Die' on April 4 via their official SNS and YouTube channel. In the video, Chaeyeon captivates viewers with a synchronized dance performance with dancers against the backdrop of a dark, vintage subway platform.

Currently, on the Top Ten TenAsia website, polls are being conducted on topics such as 'Which female singer would you like to introduce to your parents on Parents' Day?', 'Which male singer would you like to introduce to your parents on Parents' Day?', 'Which female trot singer would you like to introduce to your parents on Parents' Day?', and 'Which male trot singer would you like to introduce to your parents on Parents' Day?'
