Ha Sung-woon Tops April's TENASIA Artist Top Ten K-Pop Boy Brand Rankings
The global voting for TENASIA's Artist Top Ten was conducted in April, divided into categories such as K-Pop Boy Brand, K-Pop Girl Brand, and Hot Genre Brand. The voting took place from April 10 to April 23.
TENASIA's 'Artist Top Ten' is a monthly competition that selects the most talked-about domestic artists. Male and female K-pop idols, as well as artists from various genres (indie, mixed groups, ballads, etc.), compete for the top spot in their respective categories.
In the voting results, singer Ha Sung-woon claimed the top spot in the K-Pop Boy Brand category. Ha Sung-woon has embarked on full-group activities with Wanna One through the Mnet reality program 'Wanna One Go' since the 28th. Wanna One is a project group formed through Mnet's survival program 'Produce 101 Season 2' in 2017. All 11 members, including Kang Daniel, Park Ji-hoon, Lee Dae-hwi, Kim Jae-hwan, Ong Seong-wu, Park Woo-jin, Lai Kuan-lin, Yoon Ji-sung, Hwang Min-hyun, Bae Jin-young, and Ha Sung-woon, are participating in this program.
BTS secured the second position. BTS will hold the 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' IN BUSAN' at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium on June 12-13. The pre-sale for FC membership, conducted on NOL Ticket on the 29th, sold out all seats for both shows. This tour has been sold out since the first venue in Goyang with three performances. BTS returns to the same stage for the first time in 3 years and 8 months since the 'Yet to Come' concert in Busan in October 2022, which was held to support the 2030 Busan World Expo bid. Notably, June 13, the second day of the concert, holds special significance as it marks the group's debut anniversary.
NCT took the third spot. According to SM Entertainment on the 27th, NCT member Taeyong's first full album 'WYLD' will be released on May 18. The album consists of 10 tracks, including the title track of the same name. Taeyong participated in writing all 10 songs and composing 9 of them, and he is also credited with producing the album. Additionally, member Doyoung is part of the OST lineup for tvN's new weekend drama 'Secret Inspector.' Doyoung will support his older brother Gong Myung, who plays the role of No Gi-jun, showcasing their strong bond.
Following them were Stray Kids, ASTRO, ATEEZ, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ENHYPEN, &TEAM, and NCT DREAM.
The rankings of Ha Sung-woon, BTS, NCT, Stray Kids, ASTRO, ATEEZ, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ENHYPEN, &TEAM, and NCT DREAM are determined by 100% of the voting scores conducted on the TENASIA application. After the monthly voting concludes, the artists with the highest combined scores from fan votes are selected as the Artist Top 10. The voting page also offers an event where fans receive one heart as a gift for daily attendance check-ins.
Candidates for the K-Pop Boy Brand and K-Pop Girl Brand categories are selected from the top 20 teams on the monthly Melon Chart and Idol Champ Chart. Candidates for the Hot Genre Brand category are determined from the top 20 teams on the monthly Melon Chart and Celeb Champ Chart.
Artists who make it to the 'Artist Top Ten' Top 10 receive benefits such as special articles linked to their final rankings, promotion on the TENASIA website, and inclusion in the next month's Artist Top Ten candidates (limited to the first-place artist).
