CIX's Hyunsuk Pens Heartfelt Letter to Fans Amid Group's Disbandment Announcement
On the 29th, Hyunsuk took to Instagram to express his feelings, stating, "I was unsure of what to say first, but I decided to be honest and share my true feelings with you all."
Reflecting on his journey, he said, "I started with just a dream, knowing that every beginning has an end." He continued, "When the debut lineup was formed, and I was introduced to the world, meeting FIX (the fandom name), and receiving overwhelming support on stage made me feel like the most special person in the world."
However, Hyunsuk confessed, "I always wanted to live with just goals and dreams, but facing many setbacks and realities made me feel small." He added, "I used to feel like I could do anything, but as I went through many experiences, my initial aspirations gradually faded."
He candidly shared his feelings about the group's disbandment, saying, "I thought about just running away or trying something else," but ultimately decided to continue his path as a singer to show more of himself to FIX.
Hyunsuk expressed gratitude, saying, "I have many things to show, but I feel very sorry to ask for support for my future path." He promised, "I chose this path to show a better version of myself to those who love me, and I will make sure to repay that love without regrets."
Hyunsuk debuted with CIX in July 2019. Standing at 186.9 cm, he served as the main dancer and sub-vocalist of the group. Beyond his music career, he expanded his talents into acting, appearing in dramas such as 'When You Fall for a Bully,' 'The World You Fall Into,' 'Chairman is Grade 9,' and 'Me, Myself, and I.'
Hello FIX! This is Hyunsuk, the youngest of CIX.
First, I was unsure of what to say, but I decided to be honest and share my true feelings with you all.
I started with just a dream, knowing that every beginning has an end.
From joining in July 2017 to May 2026... From being 17 to 26, so much has happened.
Looking back, it all seems fleeting, but reflecting on those times makes me realize how precious they were.
I remember how excited I was to leave school early, take the subway and bus, and get off at Hapjeong Station Exit 5 to head to the company.
I practiced with excitement and anxiety, wondering what dance and song I would learn today, what I would talk about with my hyungs and dongsaengs, and what it would be like to debut.
Then the debut lineup was formed, the debut song was released, I was introduced to the world, met FIX, performed on stage, and received overwhelming support... I was so happy to feel like the most special person in the world.
I always wanted to live with just goals and dreams, but facing many setbacks and realities made me feel small.
I used to feel like I could do anything, but as I went through many experiences, my initial aspirations gradually faded. However, the warm support and great love from FIX have been my driving force to endure until now.
When the disbandment was decided, I thought about just running away or trying something else, but I decided to continue this path to show more of myself to FIX and to make them happier.
I am especially grateful to Byunggon hyung, Seunghun hyung, Jinyoung hyung, and Yonghee hyung, who accepted me as the youngest. I really miss the times when we just played around and performed on stage. Let's perform and have fun like that again someday.
It's sad that time flies so fast that I can't experience everything I want, but trying to capture as much as I can has made me who I am today.
My youth is still ongoing, and while I have many things to show, I feel very sorry to ask for support for my future path.
But for those who always support and love me as I am, I chose this path to show a better version of myself, and I will make sure to repay that love without regrets.
I had so much fun and was happy while being active as CIX, and I hope our FIX felt the same.
I'm not going anywhere, so let's continue to make good memories together as we always have. I love you all so much and am always grateful 🤍
I also want to take this opportunity to thank all the staff, managers, and the rookie development team who worked hard for CIX. Thank you very much.
Sincerely, CIX Hyunsuk.
