Actress Tang Wei Announces Second Pregnancy with Director Kim Tae-yong

Actress Tang Wei, wife of director Kim Tae-yong, has announced her second pregnancy.

On the 29th, Tang Wei took to Instagram to share the news in Chinese, stating, "There is an unexpected big event. Of course, we are very happy," and added, "We are expecting another little foal in our family. Everyone is looking forward to it." She also expressed gratitude for the attention and support.

Tang Wei shared a photo of herself and her husband holding a horse figurine, hinting at the baby's birth year and zodiac sign, as 2024 is the Year of the Horse.

Born in 1979, Tang Wei is 47 years old and recently faced pregnancy rumors. On the 26th, she attended a brand event in Shanghai wearing a loose-fitting black dress and trench coat, where her noticeable baby bump sparked speculation. Local media reported on the pregnancy rumors, which had also surfaced in March when Tang Wei was spotted shopping in Beijing's Sanlitun with her husband and actress friend Ni Ni. Tang Wei wore an oversized shirt, and Ni Ni was seen protecting her from the crowd.

Tang Wei married director Kim Tae-yong in 2014 after meeting on the set of the film 'Late Autumn' (2011), and they welcomed their daughter in 2016. She also starred in Kim's film 'Wonderland' (2024). According to Variety and other outlets, Tang Wei is set to appear in Park Chan-wook's Hollywood western 'The Brigands of Rattlecreek.' She previously collaborated with Park on 'Decision to Leave.'
