Voice Actress Seo Yuri Shares Sweet Moments Amidst Legal Battle with Ex-Husband

Voice actress Seo Yuri, currently embroiled in a public dispute with her ex-husband, director Choi Byung-gil, has shared a sweet update about her current relationship.

On October 30, Seo Yuri posted a photo on her Instagram story with the caption, "Thank you so much, my partner."

The photo revealed that Seo Yuri received a luxury brand bracelet from her boyfriend. Despite the ongoing conflict with her ex-husband, Seo Yuri appears to be enjoying a loving relationship, capturing public attention.

Seo Yuri and Choi Byung-gil ended their marriage after five years and have since been engaged in a public feud. Choi previously disclosed Seo Yuri's divorce settlement proposal, which included demands such as casting her in a lead role in a specific drama, ensuring her participation in his future projects, and accompanying him to the Cannes International Series Festival. Choi claimed these conditions were unrealistic and that he had settled the matter by offering additional compensation.

Seo Yuri responded by criticizing Choi's claims, stating, "It's hard to accept that he claims to have added 60 million won when he hasn't even repaid the money properly." She further argued that the mentioned conditions were not part of the final agreement and were due to the damage she suffered in the broadcasting industry because of Choi.

Recently, Choi Byung-gil took to social media to express his financial difficulties, stating, "I want to pay the settlement, but I currently have no income. I only wish to secure work soon so I can pay the settlement." He also appealed to Seo Yuri, saying, "In this industry, image and reputation are everything. Negative actions towards each other help no one. Please allow me the chance to recover in the market and pay the settlement."

Choi further claimed on October 28 that Seo Yuri had been persistently contacting him, likening her actions to stalking.

Seo Yuri married Choi Byung-gil in 2019 and divorced in March 2024. She later revealed in June last year that she is dating a legal professional she met through a matchmaking service.
