Actress Kim Sa-rang Opens Up About Interior Construction Ordeal and Legal Considerations

Actress Kim Sa-rang revealed that she had considered taking legal action following her ordeal with substandard interior construction, just a month after voicing her grievances.

On the 28th, a video titled 'Kim Sa-rang Decides to Diet While Reading Comments' was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Kim Sa-rang.' In the video, Kim Sa-rang enjoyed a cherry blossom outing with her pet dog and took time to answer questions from her subscribers.

In response to a comment asking why she hadn't started her YouTube channel earlier, given her genuine approach, Kim Sa-rang explained, "I was always busy with projects or shooting commercials, but I wanted to communicate and show my true self." She added, "The interior construction consumed two years of my life, and it drained a lot of my energy."

Addressing the issue of substandard interior construction, Kim Sa-rang responded to a comment expressing surprise that even someone with her wealth and fame could fall victim to such issues. She humorously replied, "I'm just an ordinary citizen too," but admitted that the comment brought tears to her eyes.

Kim Sa-rang shared, "At the time, I considered writing an email to the Minister of Justice, suggesting that some rules might be needed in the interior construction industry." She continued, "There must be reasons behind the actions of the companies, which is why I thought guidelines were necessary." She expressed her belief that such measures would benefit both parties, adding, "Those in the interior business wouldn't want to be seen as scammers, and there are surely good people in the industry."

Previously, on March 31st, Kim Sa-rang had revealed the interior of her country house on her YouTube channel, disclosing the issues with substandard construction. She showed how silicone used in the window installation had deteriorated due to leaks, stating, "I don't understand why it keeps leaking. After hiring another company for repairs, leaks appeared on the opposite side." She lamented that the workers left without completing the job.

Kim Sa-rang, who debuted as Miss Korea in 2000, is known for her roles in dramas like 'Secret Garden' and 'My Love Eun-dong,' as well as the film 'Love, So Divine.'
