Kim Hyang-gi Shines in Cosmopolitan's May Issue with Diverse Charms

Actress Kim Hyang-gi showcases her diverse charms in the May issue of fashion magazine 'Cosmopolitan'.

Currently starring in the Coupang Play series 'The Absolute Value of Romance', Kim Hyang-gi plays the role of 'Yeo I-joo', a high school student by day and a BL web novel writer by night. In her collaboration with 'Cosmopolitan', she seamlessly transitions between her lively character in the drama and a more mature, artistic vibe, capturing the audience's attention.

In the released photoshoot, Kim Hyang-gi perfectly pulls off a lovely choppy bang hairstyle, exuding a kitschy yet sophisticated mood. Her unique look, featuring a navy top, delicate lace skirt, and a large floral ring, maximizes her charm. The colorful ink bottles scattered on the floor creatively visualize the artistic side of her character 'Yeo I-joo', completing a more dimensional photoshoot.

In a close-up shot, Kim Hyang-gi's clear and deep gaze is captured through a transparent glass with pink paint seemingly flowing down. She also showcases the quintessential high-teen romance look with a pastel cardigan and pleated skirt, emitting her signature vibrant energy with a playful wink through the blinds.

In an interview conducted alongside the photoshoot, Kim Hyang-gi shared her thoughts on returning to a bright character after her previous works 'Hanlan' and 'Cashier'. She expressed, "It was my first time working on a comedy-heavy project, which was both burdensome and challenging, but I enjoyed the comedic elements during filming," revealing her candid feelings about her acting transformation.

When asked about the 'absolute value of love', she romantically replied, "It's the feeling of being okay with giving up something you can't let go." She added, "There are things that are important to me at different times, and if I can let go of them without hesitation, I think that's the power of love," sharing her deep perspective on love.
