Mosu Seoul Issues Apology Over Wine Mix-Up Controversy
On the 23rd, Mosu released a statement saying, "We sincerely apologize for the confusion caused by not providing accurate guidance during the wine pairing service and for failing to offer sufficient explanation during the subsequent response process, which led to great disappointment."
The statement continued, "Chef Sungjae Ahn and the entire Mosu team are taking this matter very seriously. We promise to review our services thoroughly and prevent any recurrence." They added, "We will not stop at a superficial apology but will work to rebuild trust with our customers with genuine sincerity."
Customer A, who visited Mosu, revealed that a 2000 vintage wine worth 800,000 KRW was initially supposed to be served with the main course. However, the sommelier mistakenly served a 2005 vintage wine, which was 100,000 KRW cheaper.
